Biography

Cait Maltbie is an emerging interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Madison, Kansas. They received a BFA in Printmaking from Emporia State University before going on to receive an MFA from East Tennessee State University. Currently they reside in the Lawrence, Kansas area with their cat, Lin. Through printmaking, zines, textiles, and sculptural work, they reflect on their childhood domestic turbulence, bodily health issues, and overall mental well-being to find solidarity with others who have had similar experiences.
