ABout Cait and Lin

Cait Maltbie is an emerging interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Madison, Kansas. They received a BFA in Printmaking from Emporia State University before going on to receive an MFA from East Tennessee State University. Currently they reside in Lawrence, Kansas with their cat and better half, Lin. Through printmaking, zines, textiles, and sculptural work, they reflect on their ‘big feelings’ in hopes to create a space of acceptance for others who struggle with being ‘too emotional’ in a society where we are forced to repress so much of ourselves.
